It's Friday and time for VikLit's lovely blog hop, Celebrate the Small Things, where each week we highlight the things we most want to celebrate.
Things I'm celebrating this week:
#1 That the stressfulness of this week is over! and I'm off for an extra long stay-cation weekend - just me, God, my laptop, some movies - to do some writing, reading, blogging, and lots and lots of chillaxing!
#2 That I've taken care of a lot of necessary and "should be done" tasks this week.
#3 That I asked someone who's been seriously struggling with her faith for the last three years to pray that I'll find a good and godly husband, and it really excited her to do that for me.
I hope all y'all married and dating folk had a wonderful Valentine's Day, and I'm looking forward to reading about a lot of celebrations later today!
A stay-cation is sometimes better than a vacation! I'll be thinging of you Saturday when I'll be without the family all day!! I'll be reading. Ha!
ReplyDeleteI will also send you some extra prayers to find Mr. Everything-You-Want!
I hope you have a wonderful day with the fam. And I'm feelin' the prayers coming!
DeleteI am with Dani in that I'll pray for you to find true love. Enjoy yourself these days off!
ReplyDeleteWill do my bestest to have a great relaxing time, and I thank you Al for that prayer!
DeleteMay the muse sit on your shoulder during your staycation and may cupid get his chubby butt in gear on your behalf. :) Enjoy the weekend.
ReplyDeleteYou said it Julie! That's exactly what I need.
DeleteOoooh, glad a lot of your tasks are done already. Even happier for your stay-cation, enjoy the chilaxation ;)
ReplyDeleteGlad you inspired your friend to pray! On that note, sending you lots of blessings and know that Mr. Lucky (cause that's what he'll be) will be blessed himself once he lets you find him ;)
Oh, you're so sweet SK! I appreciate that boost in confidence sent my way. :)
DeleteStay-cations are awesome and I hope you have a great one, this weekend. Have fun reading, writing, blogging, and especially...chillaxing! :)
ReplyDeleteYou said it Mark. Still convincing myself to do just that!
DeleteEnjoy your weekend! Movies, books, relaxing--sounds perfect! [g]
ReplyDeleteThanks Lara, I will. :)
DeleteHave a wonderful stay-cation!
ReplyDeleteRemember, as the saying goes, there's a lid for every pot...
I don't know, Michelle.... I've got a lot of pots with missing lids! :)
DeleteStay-cation me any day....sounds like a wonderful plan you have there! Just remember, God knows what He's doing, even when we have absolutely no clue at all!
ReplyDeleteThat I do know. As my resolution this year states: Trust God in all things.
DeleteStay cation's are AWESOME! Enjoy yours!
ReplyDeleteThanks Vikki. I am.
DeleteSounds like it has been a stressful but perhaps week. Enjoy that stay-cation!
ReplyDeleteOops. That was supposed to say "...but perhaps a productive week." lol
DeleteYes to both, Charity!
DeleteHope you've got a lot done this week.
ReplyDeleteGod has someone in mind for you. He had that person selected before you were even born.
Thanks Alex. I'll hold on to those words.
DeleteProductivity? In slow motions, but yes. :)
